In the middle of St Helier, there stands a toad on a pole, The Crapaud. He is atop a pole on which an ancient Jersey law is inscribed and which marks the spot of the old town gaol. The photo on which this image is based was actually taken whilst trying out a potential new camera from the shop opposite!
